It has been a great start to 2025, thanks to all who have registered for classes and visited me at the Markets and Festivals in 2024. It's wonderful meeting so many fantastic people and sharing in your smiles and laughter every day.

- ALL of our classes are Privately Booked to ensure a personalized experience taught by a professionally trained Potter in our home studio.
- Our classes are skill based, focused on teaching proper technique on how to throw on the Pottery Wheel.
- We offer Beginner to Advanced options, tailored to your personal aesthetics and experience.
- Handbuilding projects are also available upon request.

Important Things to Know
Class Preparation:
Cancelation Policy:
Your satisfaction is important to us and this includes your finished work.
We take great care in the drying, handling and firing of each project and do our best to guide everyone in the proper building and
construction of every piece to ensure a great finished project.
Once your pottery is completely dry it is loaded in the kiln and fired ready for pickup 4-6 weeks after your class.
Please remember, it's Pottery, there are no guarantees!
We trust you will enjoy the experience as you try something new while creating some lasting projects out of clay with your own hands.
- Wear slip-on shoes for easy access to the basement studio.
- Dress comfortable in clothes you don't mind getting clay on.
- Trim fingernails for a smoother pottery experience.
- Bring a small TOWEL for cleaning/drying your hands during class.
Cancelation Policy:
- Please notify us via email at [email protected] at least 24 hours before the class if you need to cancel.
- Cancelled or missed classes are forfeited; rainchecks are not available.
- One rescheduled class is allowed upon request with a $25 fee.
- Rescheduling depends on availability, which may be limited due to high demand and class capacity.
- All classes are non-refundable once payment has been received.
- All classes are booked for specific days and times agreed upon prior to registering.
- It is the responsibility of class participants to arrive on time and come prepared.

- Clay is a natural substance which shrinks and contracts during drying and firing time in the kiln, sometimes warping and cracking may occur.
- The kiln fires to a temperature over 2000*F and is a long, gradual process taking approximately 7.5 hours to reach temperature and 24 hours to cool down.
- There are many chemical reactions that take place during this time that can also affect the glaze outcome sometimes produces unexpected results.

3 Week Private Class Details
Explore the world of clay with our all inclusive classes, perfect for every skill level!
All classes begin with an overview and introduction followed by a detailed demonstration where Kelly will show and explain the Wheelthrowing process step by step.
You will learn the core skills and proper technique. As you work on the wheel practicing and building on the basic foundations we tackle more complex forms together as progress is made.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, there is something for everyone.

3 Week Private Classes, Tuesdays or Wednesdays (monthly basis)
We are now fully booked until June 2025!
Times:
All classes begin with an overview and introduction followed by a detailed demonstration where Kelly will show and explain the Wheelthrowing process step by step.
You will learn the core skills and proper technique. As you work on the wheel practicing and building on the basic foundations we tackle more complex forms together as progress is made.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro, there is something for everyone.

3 Week Private Classes, Tuesdays or Wednesdays (monthly basis)

- 3 Week Private Classes, total 6 hours (2 hours per class)
- 12:00-2:00pm, 3:00-5:00pm, or 6:00-8:00pm
- Private one-on-on: $360
- Special pricing for 2+ people: $240 each
- Registration is done via etransfer for the total amount to [email protected]
- Home studio at 1165 Meadowbrook Dr. SE, Airdrie
- All inclusive fees include hands on personal, professional instruction, clay glazes, use of tools and kiln firings.
- Each person will make and glaze up to 6 pieces.
- We have 3 Pottery Wheels; everyone will rotate turns for groups of more than three.
2 Hour Private Sampler Class Details
This is the perfect sampler class for a fun one time pottery experience.
Come enjoy some private creative time with a friend or loved one.
2025 Dates:
2 Hour Private Sampler Class, Saturdays (other days may be available upon request)
We are now fully booked until June 2025!
Times:
- 2 Hour Private Sampler Class (minimum 2 people, maximum 4/5 people)
- Saturday times: 10:00-12:00pm or 1:00-3:00pm (other days/times may be available upon request)
- $80 each for 2 or more people.
- Registration is done via etransfer for the total amount to [email protected]
- Home studio at 1165 Meadowbrook Dr. SE, Airdrie
- All inclusive fees include hands on personal, professional instruction, clay glazes use of tools and kiln firings.
